About Stephan Moldzio

Hello, I'm Stephan Moldzio, a freelance marine biologist. My main areas of expertise are coral reef ecology and marine aquariums. At GREEN CORALS, we offer sustainably cultivated corals, consulting, planning and construction of facilities, and other services for marine aquariums. As an author, I have published in numerous popular science and scientific journals. For the past 15 years, I have led Reef Check courses, reef monitoring and marine biology workshops in various coral reef areas. In my courses and projects, the MARINE BIOLOGY WORKSHOPS, I try to combine scientific principles with lively, practical experience — from reef monitoring to environmental education programmes. I am involved in many areas of environmental protection. As an underwater photographer and diving instructor, I want to inspire people with the fascination of the oceans and educate them about the threats to our environment and livelihoods. And I want to encourage them to take action to protect it. I am married and have two children.
