Reef Check Eco Diver Kurs 2015 & Surveys, Reef Check Surveys 2017, Reef Check Trainers´ course 2018
“The workshop with Stephan was smooth, active and standardized. You can gain the knowledge and the skills as well. It is a fascinating course for anyone who wants to conduct marine surveys for corals, fishes and invertebrates. Course materials are available and easy to use. You can feel self-confidence when conducting surveys during the course at different dive sites. You collect more data and get more experience dive after dive. You can conduct fun dives with other people and make new friendships. If you are lucky, you can participate in dugong monitoring and learn even more skills. I recommend everybody to join this course with Stephan who is a maestro in this field”

Marine Biology Workshop „basic“ und Coral ID Workshop 2017
“Our decision was more than right. The workshops were great. We started with no great expectations and were thrilled. Now that we’ve been back home for a month, I can see what we’ve learnt. I will definitely recommend the course(s) to others. If the opportunity arises, I will attend the next course”.

Marine Biology Workshop „basic“ und Coral ID Workshop 2017:
“The marine biology workshop with Stephan was one of the reasons we booked our last trip. We learnt a lot and it was great fun to take samples and look at them under the microscope. This and Stephan’s enthusiasm soon convinced us to take part in another coral workshop. You learn so much about corals and how to identify them that you go out on the reef with completely different eyes. We would recommend the workshops to anyone with even a passing interest in the wonderful underwater world.”

Marine Biology Workshop „advanced“ 2017
“Anyone who might think that – in general – it is difficult to combine a workshop with a well-earned holiday should let Stephan convince them of the opposite. Stephan’s enthusiasm for the animal and coral world was absolutely contagious during the Marine Biology Workshop. In a very relaxed atmosphere I was able to learn so much in such a short time and now dive with a completely different eye! I think every passionate diver should attend a workshop like this once in their “diving career” to better understand the incredible complexity and versatility of the miracle that is the coral reef. Thank you Stephan and see you at the next workshop!”

“I did the OWD and AOWD with Stephan quite quickly one after the other. So I think the course with the 14 day stay in Egypt was the best thing I could have done to gain experience. With an average of 4TG a day you get into a routine pretty quickly and as Stephan was there for the full 2 weeks I always had an experienced contact or buddy. During the course and the surveys I met some very nice people. One of them was a ranger from Egypt who works practically in the Red Sea. During the course itself, we learnt a lot about fish and corals, and also looked for them underwater and identified them using the right hand signals. I had a great time and learnt a lot which has helped me on my subsequent diving trips and holidays. I would highly recommend the course. Thank you Stephan for a great time and fantastic photos.”

“The workshop with Stephan was totally educational. Whether you’re an interested beginner or have extensive experience, the course offers new experiences for everyone! On the course days, the theory was broken up with practical exercises and training dives, while on the off-course diving days and surveys, fun diving was the order of the day. He was able to give names and interesting details about every creature. With his open and relaxed manner, Stephan always created a pleasant learning atmosphere. I was personally fascinated by the way Stephan still reacts enthusiastically to the underwater world. After every dive we talked shop with a gleam in our eyes. It’s contagious, of course, and the course sparked my enthusiasm for the oceans and their flora and fauna!”

Marine Biology Workshop 2014 und Reef Check Eco Diver Kurs 2015 & Surveys
“The Marine Biology Workshop with Stephan Moldzio was exactly the right thing for me – Stephan knows his stuff inside out and also showed a lot during the dives under water! I think I know a lot more about fish and corals now, and I also learned a lot about ecological relationships. He also made it very varied, a mixture of lectures, microscopy, plankton fishing, educational dives, quizzes… it was really fun. He had also prepared it very well, but was flexible for special interests/specialisations.”

Marine Biology Workshop 2014
“The workshop exceeded my expectations. I’m interested in what I see down there anyway, and I was able to see and learn more than I had before without experts. All my questions were answered as needed. In particular, I found Stephan’s enthusiasm for “UW” wonderful and inspiring. The workshop is a very good introduction for beginners (my daughter) and advanced students. The material for the workshop is absolutely great. I can definitely recommend the workshop and hope I’ll be able to attend again.

Reef Check Eco Diver Kurs 2012 & Surveys und Marine Biology Workshop 2014:
“Thanks to Stephan’s expertise and his ability to cater to individual interests and questions, I was able to develop a much better understanding of the interrelationships in the reef. Richly illustrated presentations combined with interesting dives, sampling (plankton and bottom) and microscopy made the Marine Biology Workshop extremely varied and instructive”.

Reef Check Eco Diver Kurs 2012 & Surveys, Reef Check Eco Diver Trainer Kurs 2013 und Surveys
“In addition to the Reef Check course, Stephan also imparted his extensive knowledge of marine fauna and flora. This gave me a deeper understanding and insight into the interrelationships of marine biology and environmental influences, as well as a better eye for the smaller structures under water. The international composition and the different backgrounds of the course participants, from recreational divers to diving instructors and professional divers, contributed to a lively exchange of knowledge and lasting contacts. The time spent together after the Reef Check courses was also entertaining and fun.”
